kw vs appeals

What if I do not like the ruling in my appeal?

Video Transcription:

If you do not like the ruling in your appeal, there are several motions that you could file under the appellate rules. The most common is a motion for rehearing, which goes to the panel that originally decided your case, and you would have to show that they overlooked or misapprehended something in your decision. You can also file a motion for rehearing on banc, which would go to the entire panel of all the judges that are on that particular district court of appeal, and the grounds for that would be that the decision conflicts with the prior decisions of the court or it’s a decision of exceptional importance.
